Abstract: The invention proposes a method and mobile station application designed for managing service requests via a digital mobile communications network, comprising the steps of: —connecting (S50) to a receiver adapted for receiving signals from a satellite positioning system data; —storing (S60) in the mobile station position data obtained from said signals received from the satellite positioning system; in which the steps of connecting and storing are performed while allowing said mobile station to originate outgoing calls and receive incoming calls, the method further comprising a step of: —sending (S 130) via said digital mobile communication network a signal requesting a service centre, upon request of the user, said requesting signal comprising an identifier of the mobile station and a selection of positioning data stored prior to the user's request and said service centre being adapted for deploying automated predefined services in response to the requesting signal.
