  • Patent number: 10129657
Abstract: A loudspeaker enclosure designed to convert an electrical input signal into sound signals is provided. The enclosure comprises a signal processor suitable for generating, from the electrical input signal, a modulated electrical signal using an ultrasonic carrier. The enclosure comprises a source suitable for producing ultrasonic signals from the modulated electrical signal and for broadcasting said ultrasonic signals through a medium. The carrier is chosen such that the sound signals are at least partially produced while the ultrasonic signals are passing through the medium. A buffer device is suitable for allowing the transmission of the modulated electrical signal to said at least two piezo-electric transducers of the group and for keeping the voltage observed at the terminals of said at least two piezo-electric transducers of the group substantially equal to the voltage observed at the output of the signal processor.

  • Patent number: 7438105
Abstract: The method of the invention consists, on the one hand, in serially recording on a tape of photosensitive film a succession of volume holograms each relating respectively to an item of information of a corresponding document to be made secure, each of these holograms being accompanied by an identification and positioning code printed on the same film, in developing and in fixing the holograms thus recorded, and on the other hand in printing at the same time the identity documents with their individual identification codes which are the same as those of the respective corresponding holograms, in adding an adhesive to the holograms after their fixing, and in adhesively bonding together each hologram and the corresponding document after verifying that their respective identification codes match.

  • Publication number: 20070164866
Abstract: The present invention relates to a security document having a contactless chip with data masking. The security document comprising a transponder of an electronic module connected to an antenna placed on a given surface of a first part of the document, said transponder serving to remotely communicate with a reader via an electromagnetic coupling, and also comprises a passive masking element of said antenna, which is supported by a second part of the document and can move relative to said first part, said masking element being capable of interfering with the coupling between the transponder and the reader for rendering the reading of the document impossible when said second part is in a predetermined position that corresponds to a closed position of the document.

  • Patent number: 6980336
Abstract: A document includes at least one drawing or data produced, for example, by printing. In addition, this document includes a hologram representing part of the document. The hologram of this document is recorded using a system including a prerecorded or electrically controllable optical modulator in which the image of at least part of the document is recorded. This modulator is designed to be combined with a layer of photosensitive material. A first reference wave illuminates the layer of photosensitive material. A second wave incident on the modulator and giving rise to a third object wave is also transmitted to the layer of photosensitive material in order to interfere with the reference wave in this layer.

  • Patent number: 6689041
Abstract: A folding jaw arrangement (11) at a lateral surface (9) of a product-carrying cylinder (10) in folding apparatuses. The folding jaw arrangement (11) includes a stationary folding jaw part (13) and a movable folding jaw part (14). Formed therebetween is a gap (12) into which a folding means (5) of further cylinder (4) co-operating with the product-carrying cylinder (10) plunges during the cross-folding of products. In the process, the product to be cross-folded passes from the further cylinder (4) to the lateral surface (9) of the product-carrying cylinder (10) and is held thereon by the folding jaws (11). The movable folding jaw part (14; 29, 40) is provided with resilient regions (20, 27) via which the product is brought into and held in contact (15) with the stationary folding jaw part (13) of the folding jaw arrangement (11).
