  • Patent number: 12290125
Abstract: Safety head wear for use for example in high risk activities such as sports and industrial purposes where protection from head injuries is required. Components are provided inserted between the liner and outer shell and consists of two parts; a chamber or bladder and a fluid or gel like material. The fluid or gel material is contained in the chamber or bladder and is positioned in such a way to create low friction between the surface of the shell and liner or liner and head. It can also be used on the outer surface of the shell or placed within two layers of the liner. The device provides a method of independently managing both compression and shear force characteristics of the helmet around the head designed to decrease brain trauma resulting from high linear and angular acceleration during impacts to the helmet.

  • Publication number: 20250121904
Abstract: Electric and hybrid off-road vehicles, accessories and frames therefor are provided. An off-road vehicle comprises a frame assembly, at least one front and rear wheel, at least one electric motor, at least one battery and at least one final drive unit operatively coupled to at least one wheel. The electric motor is operatively coupled to the final drive unit for transferring torque from the electric motor to the wheel. A battery assembly having electric components integrated thereto is provided. A structural battery is configured to provide a structural connection between at least two of a top, bottom, front and rear portions of a frame assembly for an off-road vehicle, and for receiving loads therefrom. Improved drivetrain arrangements provide flexibility in operating an off-road vehicle and improve overall performance. The environmental impact of off-road vehicles is reduced. Weight and complexity of off-road vehicle frames are reduced without affecting stability or safety.

  • Publication number: 20230242041
Abstract: A storage box assembly for a vehicle includes a storage box having a wall, and a tongue assembly connected to the wall. The tongue assembly has a grip selectively movable between first and second positions, and first and second tongues connected to the grip and movable with the grip. When the grip is in the first position, the first tongue is in an operative position. A first spacing is defined between the first tongue and the wall for receiving a first retaining member having a first thickness between the first tongue and the wall. When the grip is in the second position, the second tongue is in an operative position. A second spacing is defined between the second tongue and the wall for receiving a second retaining member having a second thickness between the second tongue and the wall.

  • Patent number: 4992759
Abstract: A filter having elements with distributed constants is made up of resonators providing two different types of coupling. The use of two types of coupling makes it possible to obtain the desired geometry and in particular to limit the coupling between variable capacitors in the construction of combline filters as well as the construction of filters having two transmission zeros and involving the use of hairpin resonators.

  • Patent number: 4754706
Abstract: A projectile for scattering munitions, wherein the projectile comprises:a plurality of individual munitions (4) disposed axially in a separable manner in a single stack, said munitions being generally flat in shape and having shaped upper and lower surfaces which are complementary to enable the stacked munitions to interfit; maintaining means (5) for fixing together the munitions in the stack to constitute a stack which is undeformable against axial and transverse forces, thus providing a self-supporting structure for constituting the body of the projectile; and release means for simultaneously unfixing all the munitions from one another and enabling them to be scattered.

  • Patent number: 4580500
Abstract: The munition comprises a munition body (100) which may enclose an anti-tank mine; a cover (200) for the munition body and constituting a support for a plurality of ejectable charges (300-305), e.g. anti-personnel mines. The munition is placed or scattered on the ground while it is in the closed position. Thereafter it opens, the anti-tank mine is activated, and the anti-personnel mines are ejected in a cluster around the anti-tank mine, whereby a plurality of identical munitions may be laid to set up a combined anti-tank and anti-personnel barrage.
