  • Patent number: 11391218
Abstract: Methods and systems for setting a target power of an aircraft engine are described herein. A power lever position is obtained. At least one flight condition indicative of a phase of flight of the aircraft is obtained. A maximum rated power of the engine is determined for one or more engine rating based on the phase of flight. The target power of the engine is set based on the power lever position and the maximum rated power of the one or more engine ratings.

  • Patent number: 10583268
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of the modulation of an audio and/or visual signal by a variation in the impedance of at least one contact with the skin of at least one user, for the maintenance and/or development of the user's physical and/or mental abilities. The invention comprises the use of a device (100) for controlling the delivery of a medium, said device comprising: a first skin electrode (105) configured to generate electric waves, positioned against the skin of a first user; a second skin electrode (110) configured to capture electric waves, positioned against the skin of a second user, where the second user can be the first user; a detector (115) for detecting the value of an impedance parameter of the junction connecting the electrodes and passing through the contact with the skin of each user; and a control means (120) configured to transmit a medium-delivery command according to the value detected.

  • Publication number: 20180320598
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and accommodating for loss of a torque signal of a gas turbine engine are described herein. An engine deterioration offset may be determined while the torque signal of the engine is available. Then, in the event that the torque signal is lost, a predicted operating offset may be determined. A synthesized torque signal may be generated when the torque signal is lost at least in part from the engine deterioration offset and the predicted operating offset.

  • Patent number: 6153994
Abstract: A control console comprising at least one member (1) for adjusting the level of radio-electric signals capable of taking up any position between two extreme positions, elements for detecting the instantaneous position of the member and elements for memorizing at least one position of the member. This console is characterized in that each adjusting member is provided with both motor mechanism for automatically positioning the adjusting member in its memorized position corresponding to a status of adjustment selected by the user and tactile elements for signalling the deviation ratio of the adjusting member relative to its predetermined memorized position. The invention is useful for mixing or lighting consoles.

  • Patent number: 5850353
Abstract: A dynamic multiple comparison device for real time monitoring of changes in incoming digital words streams. The device includes a memory (12) having N memory cells, a comparison section (13, 11, BD1, BD3, BA1) for making a series of N comparisons, a selection section (RC) for selecting after each N comparison, a digital word, a first writing section (14, BD2, W) for writing the selected N digital words, a reading section (11, BA1, BA2, CL, R) for reading the stored digital words, and a control section (17, LC) for controlling the cyclic operation of the device. The device has applications in nuclear power plant control and monitoring.

  • Patent number: 5764917
Abstract: A system for recording and broadcast studios for time multiplexed bidirectional transmission and switching high-fidelity audio-analog and audio-digital signals and command and control signals. A first bidirectional transmission medium conveys first frames produced by multiplexing the high-fidelity signals and command and control signals between a transmitter and a master receiver. The system also includes a controller with a man-machine interface (26, 32, 33, 34) receiving the high-fidelity signals transmitted by input circuits included in the transmitter and the command and control signals for monitoring in real time the evolution of the various parameters related to the signals, and for controlling in real time the modifications and configuration adaptions in the transmitter.
