  • Publication number: 20060232045
Abstract: An interface device between an element for binding a boot and a gliding or rolling board, the device including at least one longitudinally extended platform having a lower surface provided to be applied against the ski, and an upper surface provided for receiving at least one element for binding a boot. The platform has at least one set of transverse notches, the notches being made over the entire width or height of the platform and opening out onto two opposite surfaces of the platform, so that the plate has at least two platform blocks connected by an extensible and retractable connecting zone.

  • Patent number: 6952841
Abstract: Goggles having a frame with two lateral edges, a shield borne by the frame, and a tie for retaining the frame on the user's head which is attached to each of the lateral edges of the frame. The tie for retaining the frame has a flexible cord located at each of the ends of the tie, each of the cords being connected to the frame by two upper and lower pull points separated along a lateral edge according to an upper cord strand and a lower cord point, and a return element sliding along the cord to allow the respective lengths of the upper and lower cord strands to be modified.

  • Patent number: 5743551
Abstract: The invention relates to a retention element for retaining a boot on a ski, including a retention jaw, the jaw being carried by a body, including furthermore a compensation mechanism piloted by an activation element and adapted to lower the return force developed by the spring on the jaw in response to the downward support force exerted by a support plate whose movable support zone rests on the activation element of the compensation mechanism. The support plate has on both sides of the support zone with the activation element two carrying zones from bottom to top of the plate against the plate, which define with at least one carrying zone positioned on the rear of the plate two preferred rocking lines of the plate relative to the plate around which the support plate can rock under the effect of the variations of the support force of the boot.

  • Patent number: 5324062
Abstract: Alpine ski binding designed to hold the rear end of a boot in place on a ski. The binding comprises a body (3) connected to the ski, a device (2) for position-retention of the rear end of the boot, which is carried by the body, and a support plate for the boot (9), on which the rear end of the sole rests. The support plate is mobile in the median longitudinal and vertical plane, and a layer (15) of an elastically-compressible material is interposed between the support plate and the upper surface of the ski. In particular, the plate is interposed around an axis (25) carried by the stirrup piece which holds the rear part of the slide-rail (4) in position on the ski.
