Therefore, a method is provided for sharing content that may include receiving a content segment by a Transmitter/Receiver Device, TRD. The TRD may transmit, to the SP/CP, a request for sharing the currently received content segment. The SP/CP may receive the request from the TRD and may prepare the content segment for sharing, for example by uploading it to a replay platform. The TRD may receive, from the SP/CP an indication that the content segment has been stored on the replay platform, including a locator to the content segment. The TRD may publish the locator in the user's social network application.

Each light field video frames of of the light field video sequences has multiple selectable viewpoints. An input unit receives an input indicating a viewpoint different from the first viewpoint. The displayed light field video frame is then displayed with the indicated viewpoint. In one embodiment, two light field video frames of two light field video sequences are displayed respectively in main and side windows on the display device.

Abstract: An automated creation of a summary video based on video segments extracted from several videos by using a social network of viewers and a social curve specified by a user in order to select and order the video segments. A social network of viewers (influence scores, experts) may be used to establish metrics for video segments. A social curve may be defined with respect to the video segment metrics to allow for the automatic creation of a summary video.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for detecting a behavior patterns of a user. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving information about activities of a user and calculating duration of each activity. Each activity that exceeds a threshold duration is categorized and labelled accordingly. Activities with similar labels are grouped and labelled activities are analyzing. Alerts are then generated for certain behavioral patterns such as those exhibiting anomalies.

Abstract: The digital comments of the viewers who posted comments on videos are used to determine a similarity measure between two video segments. The results include the two similar video segments and a video similarity score between the two video segments based on the social network of the viewers who commented on the video. One advantage is to be able to provide recommendations to viewers of videos, video creators, etc. The social network of the user asking to find the similarity of pairs of videos is not considered because only the social network of the viewers and commenters of a video segment is used as a source of digital comments.

Abstract: The invention consists of a process for receiving and for screening audiovisual transmissions broadcast by a network. The transmissions consisting of events and of short transmissions possessing a distinctive element, these short transmissions being broadcast by services identifiable by this distinctive element. At a certain moment specified by the broadcaster, a sequence is transmitted on the network, it is replaced at the level of the display of the receiver by another sequence extracted from a service broadcasting short transmissions. The choice of this service is made at the receiver level. To avoid the appearance of a black screen between the network's transmitted sequences and the short transmissions, the receiver dispatches a filler transmission to the screen. The invention also consists of a digital television receiver for implementing the process.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for creation of an animated series of photographs. A photograph acquisition device analyzes the images in order to detect an absence of movement. The detection of an absence of movement during a determined period triggers a photograph to be taken and the memorization of image data in the series of photographs. The user introduces a command to end the acquisition of the series of photographs. The data of different photographs taken are assembled to form an animated series. During the reproduction, the series is reproduced by displaying successively each photograph, the time between each photograph reproduction can possibly be introduced by the user. The invention also relates to a photograph acquisition device designed acquire said animated series of photographs.
