  • Publication number: 20260111892
Abstract: An electronic terminal comprising an application processor (APP PROC) configured to execute at least one transaction, and a secure element (eSE) configured to, at the request of the application processor, perform at least one cryptographic calculation necessary for completing the transaction, and provide the result of the cryptographic calculation to the application processor. The terminal comprises a transaction validation device (B) actionable by a user and exclusively accessible by the secure element (eSE), and a physical bistable switch (S) actionable by the user and exclusively accessible by the secure element. The secure element is configured to, in a first position of the switch, enter an active mode where it responds to commands from the application processor, and, in a second position of the switch, enter an inactive mode where it does not receive or does not respond to commands from the application processor.

  • Publication number: 20260105424
Abstract: Connected terminal comprising an application processor (APP PROC) having a first display controller (DC3) connected to a display interface bus (MIPI DSI), and a display (DISP) connected to the display interface bus (MIPI DSI). The terminal comprises a device (DHW) interposed on the display interface bus (MIPI DSI), forming an embedded hardware wallet, and comprising a secure element (eSE), a second display controller (DC4) controlled by the secure element, and a multiplexer (MUX) controlled by the secure element and comprising a first input connected to an output of the first display controller (DC3) via the display interface bus (MIPI DSI), a second input connected to an output of the second display controller (DC4), and an output connected to the display (DISP) via the display interface bus (MIPI DSI).

  • Publication number: 20260105444
Abstract: Portable electronic device for performing a secure transaction, comprising an application processor (APP PROC), a secondary processor and an embedded secure element (eSE) connected to the application processor and to the secondary processor (PROC2), configured to perform certain steps of the transaction comprising at least one cryptographic calculation step involving a secret stored in the secure element. During the performance of a transaction, the secure element (eSE) transmits to the secondary processor (PROC2) display data, and the secondary processor is configured to display the display data transmitted by the secure element with priority over display data transmitted by the application processor.

  • Patent number: 10268454
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to eliminate partial-redundant vector load operations. An example apparatus includes a node grouper to associate a vector operation with a node group, a candidate verifier to perform a dependencies test on a subset of the node group, and identify a subset of the node group as a candidate when the subset satisfies the dependencies test, and a code optimizer to determine replacement code based on a characteristic of the candidate in the node group and compare an estimated cost associated with executing the replacement code to a threshold. The example apparatus also includes a code generator to generate machine code using the replacement code when the estimated cost of executing the replacement code satisfies the threshold.

  • Patent number: 10230817
Abstract: Systems and methods for scheduling highly-parallel applications executed by high-performance computing systems. An example processing system may comprise: a control register and a processing core, communicatively coupled to the control register. The processing core may be configured to receive a node allocation request specifying an expected running time of an application and a requested number of nodes of a cluster of nodes; determine, in view of the node allocation request and a current load on the plurality of nodes, an actual number of nodes to be allocated to the application, wherein the actual number of nodes to be allocated to the application optimizes a cluster load criterion; and notify, using the control register, the application of the actual number of nodes.

  • Patent number: 9859668
Abstract: A one-way connection system with a female connection element having a female contact mounted at one end of a first electrical cable, and a male connection element having a male contact mounted at one end of a second electrical cable. The system further includes a central unitary module with a longitudinal through-hole configured to receive the male connecting element on a first surface and the female connecting element on a second surface so that the male contact of the male connection element is aligned with the female contact of the female connection element to make an electrical connection between the two connection elements.

  • Patent number: 9785413
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed to eliminate partial-redundant vector loads. An example apparatus includes a node group to associate a vector operation with a node group based on a load type of the vector operation. The example apparatus also includes a candidate identifier to identify a candidate in the node group, the candidate to include a subset of vector operations of the node group. The example apparatus also includes a code optimizer to determine replacement code based on a characteristic of the candidate, and to compare an estimated cost associated with executing the replacement code to a threshold cost relative to a cost of executing the candidate. The example apparatus also includes a code generator to generate machine code using the replacement code when the estimated cost of executing the replacement code satisfies the threshold cost.
