  • Publication number: 20240198078
Abstract: An implantable medical device includes a functional unit, an introducer unit for introducing and/or navigating the functional unit in a lumen of body conduit(s) of a subject, and an elongated operable element connectable to a controller for operating the functional unit though the elongated operable element in a lumen of body conduit(s) of the subject. The functional unit, introducer unit, and elongated operable element may be in a slidable relationship for assembling and unassembling the implantable medical device in vivo. The implantable medical device is implantable, explantable, and operable in a lumen of body conduit(s) of a subject according to related methods.

  • Publication number: 20240090882
Abstract: Implantable fully-endovascular mammalian body succedent cavity wall breach sealing device comprising a support frame having compact and expanded configuration. Cavity wall barrier membrane tensioned by the frame. Membrane having a tensioned penetrable zone when. Device having a delivery configuration in which the frame is in its compact configuration, the membrane is unpenetrated, and the device is deliverable transcatheterly to a remote implantation site. Deployed configuration in which the frame is in its expanded configuration for anchoring the device in place at the implantation site. Device being positionable with such that when in its deployed configuration it has a single lumen in continuity with a native fluid flow path within the body cavity formed by the support frame. Penetrable zone abuts wall of the body cavity to be succedently traversed by a catheter. Penetrable zone permitting penetration of the catheter into the single lumen, and self-sealing around an exterior surface thereof.

  • Publication number: 20220227638
Abstract: Titanium dioxide (TiO2) forms the basis of devices for applications including sensing devices, solar cells, photo-electrochromics, and photocatalysis. Such devices exploit different phases of TiO2 within such devices and accordingly it would be beneficial to have an amorphous TiO2 precursor which allows crystalline phase spatial patterning, for the crystallization of the amorphous TiO2 precursor to be triggered at low energies, and with the crystalline phase controllable at room-temperature without necessitating complex handling whilst providing TiO2 phases that ate stable over a prolonged period of time. Accordingly, there ate provided processes for providing a TiO2 precursor and controlling the conversion of the TiO2 precursor from amorphous-to-anatase, amorphous-to-rutile, amorphous-to-mixture of anatase/rutile or from amorphous-to-anatase-to-rutile in a simple and efficient manner.

  • Publication number: 20200232209
Abstract: An insulated panel unit for connecting with structural elements of a building to at least partially form an envelope of said building is provided. The insulated panel unit includes a front panel adapted to cooperate with the structural elements of the building for positioning and connecting the panel unit in relation therewith, and at least one member having insulating properties secured to the front panel. A building envelope comprising panel units mounted on structural elements of a corresponding building is also provided.
