  • Patent number: 8657097
Abstract: A squaring-up device for a package converting line, located between a blank folding section and a folded-blank assembly section. The device has a frame, at least one jogger, having a deployed active position for correcting a geometry of a folded blank, and a drive for transporting the jogger. The squaring-up device includes an effector for moving the jogger from the active position to a retracted inactive position, and vice versa, and control the effector.

  • Patent number: 7910006
Abstract: The water is at the origin of an entire series of geological and climatic processes and is primarily the basis of all forms of life. Actually, it is the majority component of all living organisms (50% to 98%); the human body contains 70% of the total mass thereof. The biosphere in its entirety consists of 80% water. Although this may be one of the most highly examined liquids, its properties comprising numerous anomalies have not yet all been elucidated. It plays an essential role in the structure and metabolism of all living beings. This biological role is due to its physical and chemical properties that are out of the ordinary. Bernal and Flower established a rule defining that each oxygen atom has two hydrogen atoms as neighbors and each hydrogen bond contains one hydrogen atom. The separation of the liquid water molecules produces the formation of hydroxyl ion (OH?) and hydronium ions (H3O+), which hampers this rule.

  • Publication number: 20100320331
Abstract: The invention relates to a panel pivoting about an axis parallel to a side of the panel, which comprises a first continuous coating (1),a main structural frame of a composite stiffener (2, 3, 4, 5, 6) connected to the coating (1) and including a stiffening mesh (2, 3) with at least one pair of cross-shaped stiffeners each oriented in one of two directions, respectively, not parallel or perpendicular to the rotation axis. The two parts (3a, 3b) of each stiffener (3, 2) extending on either side of the centre of the cross are in structural continuity, and the two stiffeners (2, 3) each have an end located at one point (A, B, C) on the side of the panel parallel to the rotation axis, wherein the end is connected to a rigid member for connection to the rotation axis, the opposite end of at least one stiffener being blocked in rotation on a bearing point on the opposite side of the panel.

  • Publication number: 20070221577
Abstract: Water for domestic use is taken, purified, brought into the presence of gas or aerosols in a chamber of pure silica, and a magnetic field and an alternating pulsed electric field are applied thereto for time periods of adjustable length. The thus treated water is used for a biological application.

  • Patent number: 6773384
Abstract: A machine for treating sheets, said machine comprising drive means (14, 16, 18) for driving the sheets, treatment tooling (52, 62) for forming cutouts or folds in said sheets that extend transversely to the drive direction (F) in which the sheets are driven. The treatment tooling is carried by at least one carrier shaft (52, 62) driven by a shaft motor (M52, M62). The sheets are driven at a substantially constant drive speed through the machine, and said machine further comprises a control unit (UC) which, as a function of said drive speed, and of information relating to the position of a sheet in the machine, control the shaft motor (M52, M62) such that, for treating said sheet, the tooling is in contact with a predetermined region of the sheet and is driven at a treatment speed whose tangential component is equal to the drive speed at which the sheet is driven.

  • Patent number: 4779752
Abstract: There is disclosed a portable box intended for the filing of papers such as thin flexible credit card receipts and the like. It comprises a container into which is slid and snugly fitted a lining insert having at least two opposed side panels and a bottom panel. The insert panels, which line corresponding walls of the container, are formed with parallel grooves running continuously transversely and opening into the upper borders of the side panels. Flat partition members are slid into these grooves so as to define compartments having openings for the filing of papers. A closure member is snugly fitted into the container, freely resting over the panel upper borders, and is formed with appropriate slots giving access to the compartments as well as with inner furrows into which the upper ends of the partition members are housed. Finally, the container and insert are surrounded by a case to give the box the appearance of a book, which case includes a cover closing over the closure member.
