  • Patent number: 11192049
Abstract: A method for obtaining water from ambient air is disclosed that includes bringing the ambient air into contact with at least one liquid absorption agent for absorbing at least one part of the water contained in the ambient air, conveying an absorption agent diluted by the absorbed water to a first heat exchanger, and transferring the diluted absorption agent in at least one desorption device. Water desorbed in the desorption device is transported to the first heat exchanger, the desorbed water being cooled by means of the diluted absorption agent by means of the first heat exchanger. A device for obtaining water from ambient air is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20200346164
Abstract: A method for obtaining water from ambient air, wherein the method contains at least the following method steps: contacting the ambient air with at least one liquid absorbent for absorbing at least a part of the water contained in the ambient air; conveying an absorbent diluted by the absorbed water to a first heat exchanger; transferring the diluted absorbent into at least one desorption device. Therein, water desorbed in the desorption device is conveyed to the first heat exchanger, wherein cooling of the desorbed water is effected by means of the diluted absorbent by means of the first heat exchanger. Furthermore, disclosed is a device for obtaining water from ambient air.

  • Publication number: 20190299123
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for obtaining water from ambient air (14), said method comprising at least the following steps: bringing the ambient air (14) into contact with at least one liquid absorption agent (16) for absorbing at least one part of the water contained in the ambient air (14); conveying an absorption agent (18) diluted by the absorbed water to a first heat exchanger (20); transferring the diluted absorption agent (18) in at least one desorption device (30). Water (42) desorbed in the desorption device (30) is transported to the first heat exchanger (20), the desorbed water (42) being cooled by means of the diluted absorption means (18) by means of the first heat exchanger (20). The invention also relates to a device (10) for obtaining water from ambient air (14).

  • Publication number: 20120067041
Abstract: A heat engine comprises a first displacing piston and a second displacing piston, wherein a surface of the first displacing piston and a surface of the second displacing piston that face each other limit a working space that is filled with a working gas. The two heat exchanger arrangements are arranged in the working space between the first displacing piston and the second displacing piston, each heat exchanger arrangement comprising a heat source and a heat sink. The working gas flows through or circulates around each of the two heat exchanger arrangements. The first displacing piston, and the second displacing piston, and/or the heat exchanger arrangements are rotatably mounted with respect to an axis. Measures are provided for counteracting against a circular motion of the working gas around the axis relative to the heat exchanger arrangements.
