  • Patent number: 10780331
Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to an analysis device for board sports, intended to be secured to a board, such as a surfboard or ski, at the interface with the user. The device includes: a force sensor designed to capture one or more forces generated by the user on the board; a position and motion sensor designed to capture the position, speed and acceleration of the board in space; and a processing unit or processor connected to the force sensor and to the position and motion sensor and designed to synchronize and process the data from the sensors.

  • Publication number: 20190126118
Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to a real-time teaching aid device for a board sport, such as surfing, intended for a person engaging in such a sport. The teaching aid device includes a set of sensors capable of measuring the position, the speeds, and the accelerations of a surf board in a Cartesian coordinate system associated with the board; the set of sensors being connected to a measured data processing unit for determining a deterministic dynamic behavior model of the surf board; at least one signal for providing, in real-time, information relating to the deterministic dynamic behavior model of the board to the person engaging in such a sport and/or to a third party. The invention also relates to a surf board having such a device.

  • Patent number: 8671466
Abstract: The general field of the invention is that of helmet shells made of composite material comprising at least one “armure” of fabrics impregnated with a resin matrix. Certain parts of the “armure” are impregnated with a resin matrix comprising an additive adapted to reinforce the mechanical strength of the helmet, the said parts corresponding to the weakest zones of a human head, such as the top of the head or the ears. Preferably, the resin is of the epoxy type and the additive is based on acrylic block copolymers. More precisely, the additive is of the “Nanostrength®” brand.

  • Publication number: 20110055993
Abstract: The invention relates to a helmet including a protective shell. The protective shell includes an upper part and a lower part extending towards the bottom of the helmet. The upper part includes a sandwich composite material including two skins, disposed on either side of a core, themselves including a plurality of composite tissue layers, The lower part includes a monolithic composite material. The invention applies in a general manner to protective helmets and more particularly in the field of aeronautics where the rigid structure allows head equipment to be fixed directly onto the protective shell.
