  • Patent number: 11977010
Abstract: A tissue core sample in a metal core collector or stylet is touched to a substrate channel filled with as special liquid such as a hydrogel to which the tissue core sample is attracted to thereby transfer the tissue sample to the channel while preserving the integrity of the sample, speeding up the transfer and preserving the sample orientation so it can be unambiguously associated with its anatomical origin.

  • Patent number: 5988194
Abstract: An anchoring system and method for temporary structures is disclosed. The system comprises: At least a first stake having a shaft with a lower end for insertion into the ground, and an upper end including a loop; at least a second stake having a shaft with a lower end for insertion into the ground, and an upper end including at least one hook. When the lower ends of the at least first and second stakes are inserted into the ground, the lower ends of the stakes are angled away from each other, the shaft of the second stake is received through the loop of the first stake, and a portion of the shaft of the first stake is received within the at least one hook, whereby the at least first and second stakes are in a mutually interlocked condition which prevents the at least first and second stakes from being independently extracted from the ground.

  • Patent number: 4775348
Abstract: A bubble forming machine that produces bubbles including a housing having an air inlet and an air and bubble outlet, a fan to create an air stream through the housing from the inlet to the outlet, a reservoir containing a bubble creating liquid such as soapy water located in the housing in the air stream near the outlet and open at the top so that air moves across the open top of the reservoir, a plurality of foraminous screens radially mounted on a rotating axis. The screens have a multiplicity of openings therein and are mounted for movement into and out of the reservoir opposite to the direction of air flow. A motor is provided for rotating the axis and thereby the screens into and out of said reservoir so that the screens pick up some of the soapy water to form a film on the openings in the screen that is blown off by the air stream to form a stream of bubbles.
