Abstract: A system and method are provided for controlling a mobile device. The method includes, during use of the mobile device, interpreting at least one item, the at least one item corresponding to data or events detectable on the mobile device. At least action may then be determined, which are associated with the at least one item, each action capable of preemptively executing at least a portion of a task using features available on the mobile device. At least one of the actions may then be executed and a result associated with the execution of the at least one action provided.

Abstract: Peer-to-peer sharing of information is described. A requester peer device obtains portions of a desired digital content from a select number of provider peer devices. The provider peer devices are selected using statistical information that considers historical data access between the requester communication peer device and the provider communication peer devices. The requester peer device also obtains an amount of error correcting data associated with the requested portions of the digital content from the server. The amount of error correcting data is determined using the statistical information. The requester peer device reconstructs the desired digital content using a combination of the digital content portions obtained from the selected provider peers and the error correcting data obtained from the server.

Abstract: A watercraft having a hull, a mast with sail, an aft rudder and a hydrofoil projecting below the bottom of the hull. The hydrofoil is pivotly connected to the hull enabling the hydrofoil to pitch on a pivot axis which is essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hull. The hydrofoils have a vertical part which produces lateral forces to accelerate the boat in turns and resist lateral forces from the sail, and a vertical portion which curves into the horizontal portion which produces vertical lift.
