Publication number: 20090125412Abstract: The invention concerns trading tokens, such as but not limited to, the trading of virtual trading cards. The invention also concerns a computer system (104) to facilitate the trading of tokens, a set of messages exchanged in order to trade tokens, a method of trading tokens by a token owner, and a software application to be used by the token owner to trade a token. Information relating to tokens owned by the first and second user is stored in a datastore. Using their mobile device (100), a first user (102) offers to trade a first token, and this offer is stored in the datastore (104). The server (104) then sends to the mobile communication device (112) of a second user (110) details of the offer. The second user (110) can reply by offering a second token in exchange for the first token, and this offer is also stored in the datastore and communicated to the first user (102).Type: ApplicationFiled: October 5, 2006Publication date: May 14, 2009Applicant: Flying Bark Interactive PTY LimitedInventors: Geoffrey Phillip Watson, Karen Melinda Horne, Foster Langbein

Publication number: 20050190571Abstract: The subject invention relates to automotive head lamp assemblies with a low beam unit and a high beam unit. In an exemplary embodiment, the low beam unit and high beam unit is connected to one another by an adjuster bracket. The adjuster bracket allows for two ball studs to interact with the adjuster bracket. The first ball stud interacts with the adjuster bracket and high beam reflector so that the high beam reflector's vertical axis can be adjusted to make it parallel to the vertical axis of the low beam reflector. The second ball stud interacts with the adjuster bracket and low beam reflector so that both the low beam reflector and high beam reflector are adjusted vertically at the same time and in the same direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 27, 2004Publication date: September 1, 2005Applicant: Guide CorporationInventors: Phillip Watson, Jo Broshar, Travis Floyd

Patent number: 5344457Abstract: There is disclosed an implant for anchoring in bone and/or fibrous connective tissue and to which a prosthesis such as a dental bridge may be connected through connecting components. The implant is of tapered design defining a wide top portion for connection to the connecting components and a tapered body comprising upper and lower regions. The lower bone-engaging region of the implant is provided with a porous surface into which bone may grow thereby anchoring the implant. The upper region of the implant has a surface suitable for bone attachment which is different from the surface of the lower region. In one embodiment, the upper portion has a larger taper angle than the rest of the implant for increased stability and stress transfer to the surrounding bone. In another embodiment, the surface of the upper region is coated with a bioreactive coating to allow direct bonding of bone and/or soft connective tissue (gingival tissue) thereby inhibiting epithelial migration apically.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 1993Date of Patent: September 6, 1994Assignee: The University of Toronto Innovations FoundationInventors: Robert M. Pilliar, Douglas A. Deporter, Phillip A. Watson
