Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for rapid filtering of opaque data traffic are disclosed. According to one method, the method includes receiving a packet containing a payload. The method also includes analyzing a portion of the payload for determining whether the packet contains compressed or encrypted data. The method further includes performing, if the packet contains compressed or encrypted data, at least one of sending the packet to an opaque traffic analysis engine for analysis, discarding the packet, logging the packet, or marking the packet.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to apparatus and methods for counterbalancing a pumping unit. One embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for operation a pumping unit. The method includes measuring an orientation of a component and one or more parameters of the pumping unit while running the pumping unit, and determining an imbalance of the pumping unit according to the measured orientation and one or more parameters.

Location information of the node can be transmitted to a routing device in response to the triggering event. Location information of the node can be transmitted to a management device. The pattern of association can be used to identify a next network device that a mobile device will transition to based on which network device the mobile device is currently connected to. Data, such as authentication information, can be pushed to the identified next network device to reduce network connectivity issues that may occur by transitioning between network devices.

Abstract: A retractable cord reel houses contacts that connect autonomously when the user aligns the spool to lock it from retracting. The spool and housing contains high quality, sensitive contacts for high speed data and other critical signals that engage when indexed by the user. The design is flexible for adaptation to a variety of applications and scalable based on cable type and length as well as the number of contacts required. The contacts are engaged when the user allows an indexing dog to engage a spool indexing housing causing the dog to shift and force a mating lever to make the electrical connection. Decoupling occurs instantly when the spool is slightly rotated by the user. The user's only action throughout the process is to pull the cable. Without this intentional action of the user, the spool, rotates freely and the contacts are not engaged.

Abstract: A canopy gutter system includes a rainwater collection slot disposed on the top side of a canopy for collecting rainwater from the top side of the canopy, thereby preventing the rainwater from cascading over the sides of the canopy. The canopy gutter system further includes a rainwater gutter disposed underneath the rainwater collection slot for receiving the collected rainwater and channeling the collected rainwater away from a side of the canopy, toward a corner of the canopy. The canopy gutter system further includes a spout for transporting the channeled water from the rainwater gutter downward toward the ground along a leg of the canopy.

Abstract: According to one aspect, there are systems and methods for component failure-mode surveillance. The system comprises a failure-mode reporting module for managing data derived by engineers in the field about a designed product, and comprises a troubleshooting-sessions database. The failure-mode reporting module is configured to communicate with a product lifecycle management module that stores and manages data about a product design. The failure-mode reporting module uses a component of interest, corresponding to a bill-of-materials in the product lifecycle module, searches a set of troubleshooting sessions based on the component of interest, and provides a report of failure modes experienced in the field for the component of interest. The report may be provided to research and design engineers in order to inform the design of future components.

The first knowledgebase pertains to a first equipment, and the second knowledgebase pertains to a second equipment. The second equipment is a component of the first equipment. A Federation Manager associated with the first knowledgebase transfers a case-based reasoning session between the first and second knowledge-bases.

A wound dressing system including a container is also provided that includes a powder, wrap, and frangible ampoule. The powder is disposed within the container, which is configured to allow the powder to be dispersed onto a wound site when activated. The wrap, which may include an oxygen catalyst, is also disposed in the container and is configured to contact/surround the wound site. The ampoule, also disposed in the container, includes a liquid containing an oxygen precursor. The liquid is configured to contact the wrap when the container is activated. Further, the catalyst and precursor are configured to form oxygen when combined.
