In a method for removing at least one degree of freedom of a wrench, an internally threaded member is applied to an externally threaded member, a tool end of a wrench is applied to the internally threaded member, a threaded sleeve is applied to the externally threaded member adjacent to the internally threaded member and a washer is biased towards the tool end of the wrench.
