  • Publication number: 20240147124
Abstract: Devices and methods for conveniently storing earphones are disclosed. The disclosed embodiments can stow earphones proximal to the user's ear, such as on their shirt like a magnetic name tag to enable fast and easy access and storage and charging. The embodiments secure earphones while they are stowed and allow their easy removal. The proximity of the storage and the ease of earphone insertion and removal may reduce risk of losing earphones. The disclosed embodiments safely stow and may charge wireless earphones, allowing the original charging case to be stored in a designated location that does not need to be accessed throughout the day. The disclosed embodiments also eliminate the need for pockets, bags, etc. to safely stow earphones and their case. Once removed from a disclosed storage device, the earphones are unrestrained and not physically tethered. The disclosed embodiments can add to the convenience of using wireless earphones. The disclosed embodiments can be used on multiple earphone designs.
