Abstract: Protecting content on a local device. A method includes, at a local device connecting to a remote server controlled meeting, wherein the remote server provides meeting content. The method further includes, at the local device, receiving meeting content from the remote server. The method further includes, at the local device preventing a user of the local device from accessing the meeting content. The method further includes, at the local device obtaining an authentication token. The method further includes, at the local device receiving from a user the obtained authentication token to authenticate the user to the device. The method further includes, at the local device, comparing the received token to the obtained token. The method further includes, as a result of the received token matching the obtained token, providing access to the meeting content to user.

Abstract: In at least some embodiments, when a participant in an online meeting begins to share a resource, such as their display screen, a new application window is automatically opened on a meeting room device and content associated with the participant's computing device is shared within the new application window. The participant can be a person in close proximity to the meeting room device. Alternately or additionally, the participant can be a remote participant.

Abstract: Meeting software on a meeting room device enables meeting room resources to be automatically shared. A meeting is initiated and, during the meeting, and associated meeting room device monitors for events pertaining to an interaction with one or more meeting resources. Responsive to detecting an event, the meeting room device automatically enables associated meeting room resources to be automatically shared among meeting participants.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and software for facilitating conversation environments. In an implementation, a view of a conversation environment is presented that includes a conversation component within which to present communications exchanged during a conversation between a participants in the conversation. In response to a participant list gesture, the view is modified to include a list component presented over a portion of the conversation component. The list component may include contacts associated with the participants in the conversation. In response to a contact gesture corresponding to one of the contacts, the view is modified again to replace the list component with a contact component associated with the one of the contacts. In some implementations the view is a single window view within which the components are arranged.
