Patent number: 11953982Abstract: Embodiments include in response to monitoring a processor during operation, detecting a first number of core recovery events in the processor, determining that the first number of core recovery events fulfills a first condition for the first core recovery events threshold, and modifying a value of at least one droop sensor parameter of the processor by a first amount. The at least one droop sensor parameters affects a sensitivity to a voltage droop. In response to modifying the value of the droop sensor parameter by the first amount, a second number of core recovery events is detected in the processor. It is determined that the second number of core recovery events fulfills a second condition for a second core recovery events threshold, and the value of the at least one droop sensor parameter is modified by a second amount.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Alejandro Alberto Cook Lobo, Andrew A. Patent number: 11928964Abstract: A parking availability predictor system provides a prediction of parking availability that meets a user's specified needs. When the user submits a query for parking availability, he can include desired parking criteria such as location, handicapped status, and desired time to begin parking. The system consults a parking occupancy model which gathers current and historical information about parking occupancy, including parking durations and durations of vacancies between occupancies. The model processes the gathered information into a statistical predictor of parking occupancy and vacancy. The system uses the predictor to predict when parking that meets the user's needs will become available. That prediction, including user-suitable parking locations along with the expected start of their vacancies, is then sent to the user in answer to his query.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2022Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Nikhil Dama, Laura Frisbie Evans, Christopher Ryan Haberland, Ting Lu, Simon Phillip Stolarczyk, Kristopher Thomas Williams

Patent number: 11098975Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a mounting bracket for coupling a sight or other targeting device to a bow. In an illustrative example, the sight may be a thermal or night-vision sight, and an electronic device may optically couple to the sight for displaying a view through the sight on a display screen of the electronic device. The sight may fixedly couple to the mounting bracket via, for example, a Picatinny-style rail/mount. An on-the-fly windage/elevation adjustment mechanism may allow for adjustments, for example, to the windage and/or elevation of the sight coupled to the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket may utilize, for example, a thermal or night-vision sight that may be beneficial for use in low light conditions, such as bow hunting at night.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2018Date of Patent: August 24, 2021Inventor: Phillip Evans
