  • Patent number: 6854597
Abstract: A package which demonstrates utility of two cooperating attachable pieces includes a first package portion for retaining a first piece having a first releasably connectable surface thereon, wherein the first package portion includes a reveal surface to expose part of the releasably connectable surface, a second package portion for retaining a second piece which cooperates with the first piece and has a second releasably connectable surface thereon, wherein the second package portion includes a reveal surface to expose part of the second releasably connectable surface. Further, the releasably connectable surfaces can be connected to one another through the reveal surfaces which when so connected retains the package portions adjacent one another.

  • Patent number: 6852021
Abstract: A method of making an abrading implement includes the steps of disposing a porous member for aiding in abrasion adjacent a first surface within a mold and supplying two reactive liquid components into the mold in a manner in which the two materials enter onto a second surface of the mold opposing the first surface, whereupon a reaction between the components form a raw implement of structural foam which is bonded to the porous member. Subsequent the reaction, the raw implement is removed from the mold and cut, preferably sawn, in a manner to provide an abrasive implement having a surface portion the foam exposed from the cut to aid in gripping the same by one's hand. An abrading implement is also provided by the method.

  • Patent number: 6176377
Abstract: A rack for supporting at least one abrasive generally circular disc on a conventional display stand, wherein each disc has two faces and a continuous edge includes a pair of rack support rails which co-extend alongside one another in a spaced relation of a distance less than a diameter of the disc and at least one of the rails includes a raised ridge surface. When the disc is disposed such that its edge contacts the rails and the disc is supported by the rails, the disc is positionably retained by the ridge along a predetermined area of the rail.

  • Patent number: 6098818
Abstract: A floor display stand which improves the visibility of the displayed items while providing easy self-service access to the items by the consumer. The configuration of the floor display stand includes a horizontal base or shelf, two parallel panel vertical side members and a vertical back member. The vertical side panel members and the back panel member are connected to the horizontal base or shelf such that the base or shelf is positioned at a predetermined distance from the floor. The front edge of each of the two side panel members contains an inwardly directed flange which extends a predetermined distance along the front edge of the side panel member such that the distance between the leading edges of the two flanges is less than the distance between the two parallel side panel members so packages or sheets of displayed material, when stacked horizontally on the base or shelf, are prevented from sliding out of the display stand.
