Abstract: A lightweight and portable golf training apparatus for improving and perfecting a proper golf club swing is disclosed. The apparatus includes a first guide member that is elevated from the ground and a substantially linear side barrier section, which lies substantially parallel to the intended flight path of the golf ball. A curved edge provides a visual and physical guide to mark the path arc of a properly executed swing. A second guide member is disposed adjacent to the curved edge of the first guide member. The second guide member includes a top surface that is elevated from the ground. Forming a side of the second guide member is a substantially linear main guiding section, which, when positioned in a substantially parallel alignment with the curved edge of the first guide member, defmes a curved pathway for guiding a golf club through the proper swing arc.
