A canopy shaped like a helmet includes side walls pivotally coupled to the carriage body side walls adjacent the rear wall thereof. The canopy is pivotally movable between a first configuration situated substantially over a rear portion of the carriage body for shielding the infant and a second configuration substantially beneath the carriage for partially exposing the infant.
