    Abstract: A process and a kit-of-parts for dyeing keratinous material, particularly human hair, are provided. An exemplary process for dyeing keratinous material includes applying an agent (a) to the keratinous material. The agent (a) comprises (a1) at least one organic silicon compound selected from the group consisting of silanes having one, two or three silicon atoms, and (a2) at least one first colorant compound selected from the group consisting of pigments and direct dyes. The process further includes applying an agent (b) to the keratinous material.
