The method further includes causing at least a portion of the event feed to be displayed to the user in the event feed. In accordance with a determination that the user is viewing a graphical user interface associated with a first software application, the recommendation feed item includes feed item sources associated with the first software application. In accordance with a determination that the user is viewing a graphical user interface associated with a second software application different from the first, the recommendation feed item includes feed item sources associated with the second software application.

Abstract: A method includes executing a messaging application to generate a messaging session between a user device and an application contact that represents a communication channel with a business's application. The method further includes requesting historical items from one or more remote servers for insertion into the messaging session. The historical items include links that were generated by the remote servers and selected by a user prior to creation of the messaging session. The links are associated with the business's application. The method further includes receiving historical items from one or more of the remote servers, inserting the received historical items into the messaging session, and receiving user selection of one of the historical items. Additionally, the method includes launching an application according to an access mechanism of the selected historical item and setting the launched application state into a state specified by the access mechanism of the historical item.

Abstract: A device for transient measurement of motion resistance between test substance and one or two test surfaces, comprising a tension/compression force transducer, a speed and/or torque controlled motor with position encoder, rails for mounting a movable sled, method for applying a normal force on the test specimen and computerized data acquisition. The tension/compression force transducer is capable of measuring the transient resistance to motion of the sample mounted to the movable sled in either horizontal direction or in reversible motion oscillatory pull/pull direction at variable frequency and amplitude. The force transducer is capable of precise measurement of the full motion record of the test material from the initiation of motion to the steady state movement.
