  • Patent number: 12139702
Abstract: A well for electrically stimulating at least one cell. The well includes a bottom portion and comprises an adaptive electrode arrangement for introducing an electric field into the well. The adaptive electrode arrangement includes a pair of electrodes disposed within the well. Each electrode of the pair of electrodes has a distal end and is independently and axially displaceable relative to the other electrode and the bottom portion of the well. The distal end of each electrode of the pair of electrodes is in contact with the bottom portion of the well, ensuring a uniform and constant electric field is applied within the well.

  • Publication number: 20230387689
Abstract: A data center has a distribution network and a control system. The control system receives substation meter data, distributed energy resource (DER) meter data, and receive data center meter data. The control system selects a data center operating mode using the substation meter data, the DER meter data, and the data center meter data. The control system then adjusts power consumption of the distribution network based on the selected the data center operating mode.

  • Patent number: 8719464
Abstract: The present system enables passing a pointer, associated with accessing data in a memory, to an input/output (I/O) device via an input/output memory management unit (IOMMU). The I/O device accesses the data in the memory via the IOMMU without copying the data into a local I/O device memory. The I/O device can perform an operation on the data in the memory based on the pointer, such that I/O device accesses the memory without expensive copies.

  • Publication number: 20130145055
Abstract: The present system enables an input/output (I/O) device to request memory for performing a direct memory access (DMA) of system memory. Further, the system uses an input/output memory management unit (IOMMU) to determine whether or not the system memory is available. The IOMMU notifies an operating system associated with the system memory if the system memory is not available, such that the operating system allocates non-system memory for use by the I/O device to perform the DMA.

  • Publication number: 20020146392
Abstract: This invention provides helper-dependent adenovirus cloning vectors and helper adenoviruses, and methods for making and using such preparations, wherein the helper adenoviruses contain recombinase target sites that are useful in reducing the level of contamination of helper virus in helper-dependent adenovirus vector preparations.
