  • Publication number: 20100186682
Abstract: A pet toy comprises an elastic core, a napped surface and an outer cover. The elastic core defines a shape of the pet toy. The napped surface covers the elastic core. The outer cover is durable, flexible and transparent, for protecting the elastic core from chewing activity while providing a view of the napped surface. The napped surface spaces the outer cover from the elastic core, such that the outer cover conforms to the shape of the pet toy.

  • Publication number: 20050285313
Abstract: Described is a gel/cure unit which utilizes separate temperature-control zones. Each zone includes a plurality of quartz infrared lamps which administer heat to a coated substrate which passes through the unit on rollers. One infrared sensor is provided in each zone to remotely detect the temperature surface of the coated substrate. Each zone also has a temperature controller, into which a zone temperature setting may be made. If the zone temperature reading is lower than the zone temperature setting, the intensity of the infrared lamps is increased until that zone meets the set temperature. If the reading is higher, the temperature is decreased until the set temperature is reached. An air-control system for the unit is also disclosed. The air is introduced from top to bottom through the unit. This is done using a pair of induction blowers located on top of the unit and an exhaust blower which is located at the bottom of the unit.

  • Publication number: 20050281325
Abstract: An M code envelope detector receives an incoming binary offset carrier (BOC) signal, such as the M code signal, and generates inphase BOC and quadraphase BOC signals, separated by an offset, that have respective ambiguous correlation envelopes, that when combined, provide a near unimodal correlation function with respect to code phase error of the BOC signal having an inherent multimodal autocorrelation function, with the near unimodal correlation envelope being tracked by early and late code replicas at broad one chip phases for providing unambiguous but nonlinear code phase error tracking, which detector is then further improved with the use of code replicas having narrow partial chip phases, such as ? chip phases, for providing near linear code phase error tracking for unambiguous and accurate code tracking of the BOC signal.
