Abstract: Establishing settings of communications service features for a user includes identifying a plurality of communications services of the user. The plurality of communications services include wireline phone service, cellular phone service and/or electronic mail (e-mail) service. A plurality of user selectable communications service scenarios for the user are defined. Settings for the plurality of communications services to be applied for the user upon selection of one of the scenarios are established. A selection of one of the scenarios is received. The current settings of the communications service features for the user are automatically changed to the established settings for the selected one of the scenarios responsive to receiving the selection of the one of the scenarios.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments include a system for providing interactive content including: an input for receiving a hot key signal related to interactive content, the hot key signal indicative of an availability and a location of an alternate content; and a processor which indicates that the hot key signal has been received, and responsive to receiving an indication that the hot key is accepted, redirects a user to the alternate content, wherein the alternate content is an interactive user interface related to the interactive content.

The method includes associating a content preview with a program descriptor that identifies a program in an onscreen programming guide database of programming content listings. The method also includes presenting the content preview to a program receiving device responsive to selection of the program descriptor. The content preview provides information about the program.

Abstract: Computer implemented methods of coordinated control of a plurality of different services for a user include associating data records from each of the different services to provide an aggregated database. The different services include a communications service of the user, a media service of the user and a calendar of the user. A user interface is provided to a user for establishing settings of at least one of the data records in the aggregated database to control the different services. An interaction model associated with the different services is also provided. A current state of at least one of the data records in the database that is specified in the interaction model is detected. Operation of at least one of the different services is automatically controlled based on the detected current state and the interaction model.

Abstract: A method of managing a plurality of Voice-Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone lines assigned to a VoIP Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). A VoIP call window is displayed on a display device of the VoIP CPE. A different one of a plurality of sub-windows are assigned to each of the different VoIP phone lines. The sub-windows are displayed so that they can be viewed at the same time within the VoIP call window. An indicia is displayed within each of the sub-windows that identifies with which of the VoIP phone lines each sub-window is assigned.
