Abstract: An apparatus (1) for surface treatment of an elongate object (50), such as a wire rope, while the apparatus (1) travels along the object (50), including a squeegee unit (10) for applying a deformable material, such as a coating material, comprising: a first and a second opening (16, 17) which are mutually aligned and through which said elongated object (50) is able to pass in a longitudinal direction (12), wherein a squeegee element (102) is provided between the first and the second opening (16, 17) defining an opening (15) which is adapted to the cross sectional shape of the elongated object (50) to distribute a coating layer by wiping along the surface of the elongated object (50) passing through said opening (15).

Abstract: An interest collection system includes one or more wireless communication technologies such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags, Near Field Communication (NFC) tags, Bluetooth communication signals, and other one-way or two-way technologies. These technologies can be used to wirelessly interact with reader devices at event locations such that certain types of interactions are interpreted as one or more of participant interest, preference, and participation. Interactions may be recoded and information related thereto may be provided to event participants, organizers, service providers, and/or others for later retrieval and/or analysis. In some examples participant interest, preference, and participation across multiple events may be collected.

Abstract: A plasma processing chamber configured to generate a plasma is provided. The plasma processing chamber includes a substrate support assembly which includes a substrate support that is capable of supporting a substrate. The plasma processing chamber further includes a plate having a bottom surface and a top surface, and the plate is coupled to the plasma processing chamber. The plate further includes a plurality of countersunk regions for receiving a corresponding plurality of fasteners that enable coupling of the plate to the plasma processing chamber, and the plate has a lip that surrounds an outer region of the plate near the top surface of the plate. The substrate support is configured to be connected to the top surface of the plate.

Abstract: A pipe hanger assembly for suspension from an associated spacing member extending from a support structure. The hanger assembly includes a generally continuous loop member configured to receive an associated pipe therein. Extending legs on the loop member each include first and second arcuate portions defining interlocking means. The interlocking means are designed to engage an opposed leg and receive an interconnecting member therethrough. The interconnecting member operatively engages the spacing member and has a radially extending flange defining a shoulder for abutting engagement with the loop member.
