    Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for smart tree navigation. According to one aspect, the user inputs in the form of node interaction events are tracked to determine preferred nodes that can be used to guide a user's navigation in the future. In another aspect, the preferred nodes are suggested to a user for further navigation by visualization representations that emphasize the preferred nodes.
