    Abstract: The invention provides a liquid agrochemical composition, preferably in the form of an emulsifiable concentrate (EC), comprising a mixture of: one or more agrochemically active ingredients (in particular comprising one or more herbicides); a C1-C6 alkyl methacrylate polymer (preferably an isobutyl methacrylate polymer); and a solvent system comprising: (c1) an alcohol solvent comprising hexylene glycol (2-methyl-2,4-pentanediol), benzyl alcohol, diacetone alcohol (2-methyl-4-oxo-pentane-2-ol), isobutanol, n-pentanol, n-hexanol, n-heptanol, n-octanol, 2-ethyl-hexanol, cyclohexanol, dipropylene glycol, diethylene glycol monomethyl ether, dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, ethylene glycol, or a mixture of two or more of these alcohols (preferably hexylene glycol); and (c2) a heavy aromatic hydrocarbon solvent. The C1-C6 alkyl methacrylate polymer generally acts as a thickener which is suitable for the defined solvent system, and which is for increasing the viscosity of the composition.
