Abstract: Disclosed herein is a blue light phototherapy system and methods of using the system to prevent and treat driveline bacterial infections, and particularly ventricular assist device driveline bacterial infections (Right Ventricular Assist Devices (RVAD) and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD)). The blue light phototherapy systems provide for both repeated and/or periodic antimicrobial treatment of soft tissue surrounding a driveline exit site on an individual. In many embodiments, the system includes one or more arrays of light emitting diodes (LED) of predominantly blue wavelengths in combination with a single or multi-piece biocompatible structure that captures the arrays and provides for a fixed distance from the arrays to the exit site tissue surface.

Abstract: A method for transitioning a target from a missile warning system to a fine tracking system in a directional countermeasures system includes capturing at least one image within a field of view of the missile warning system. The method further includes identifying a threat from the captured image or images and identifying features surrounding the threat. These features are registered with the threat and image within a field of view of the fine tracking system is captured. The registered features are used to identify a location of a threat within this captured image.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for management of entitlement to security operations. In one aspect, a method for authentication, includes: determining an indication of a cursor being positioned over a graphical user interface element of a first application process for a period of time, where the first application process is to present information and the graphical user interface element has encrypted data obtained with the information; and in response to the indication: obtaining the encrypted data from the graphical user interface element; and determining whether or not the information is trusted using the encrypted data.
