  • Patent number: 10981514
Abstract: A storage assembly includes an attachment system for securing an item to a surface. The attachment system includes a first mounting component fixed to the surface and a second mounting component fixed to the item and cooperating with the first component to detachably secure the item to the surface. A retention assembly associated with the first and second mounting components prevents accidental separation of the two components. The attachment system may also include a manipulation element coupled to one of the first and second retention elements and configured to facilitate intentional separation of the two mounting elements.
