Abstract: There is provided a control method and a control apparatus for an electronic device. The method comprises: establishing communication connection with another device; creating a transparent display layer above a display interface of the electronic device in response to the establishment of the communication connection; receiving interactive contents from the another device; and displaying the interactive contents in the transparent display layer. The method enables the another device to interact with the electronic device without affecting the broadcasting of contents that are originally displayed. Furthermore, special effects may arise due to the combination of the interactive contents and the contents that are originally displayed, leading to various types of interaction between the electronic device and the another device.
