A first recess and a second recess are defined in an inner periphery of the driving tube, wherein the first recess is located corresponding to the ratchet portion and the second recess is located corresponding to the sprocket portion. A ratchet unit is mounted to the ratchet portion and a sprocket unit is mounted to the sprocket portion. A first rotary member and a second rotary member are engaged with the first recess and the second recess respectively.

    Abstract: A hub assembly includes a hub and an axle extending through the hub. A ratchet ring is located in the hub and has multiple ratchet teeth in an inside thereof. A transmission unit has a ratchet part located in the ratchet ring and the ratchet part has at least one transmission recess and at least one positioning recess defined in an outside thereof. The at least one transmission recess and the at least one positioning recess respectively have a transmission piece and a positioning pieces rotatably received therein. The transmission piece has a driving end engaged with one of the ratchet teeth. A resilient ring restricts the transmission piece and the positioning piece on the ratchet part. By the switch the transmission piece and the positioning piece, the transmission direction can be changed.

    Abstract: A bearing positioning device for hub assembly includes a hub with a sleeve connected thereto, and an axle extends through the hub and the sleeve. A ratchet part extends from the sleeve and the sleeve has an engaging hole through which the axle extends. An inner bearing is mounted to an inner ring of the axle. A contact unit has at least one contact member which is mounted to the axle and has a flange whose diameter is larger than the inner diameter of the engaging hole. A contact surface is formed on one side of the at least one contact member and contacts on a side of the inner ring. The engaging hole is reduced so that the thickness of the sleeve is not reduced so as to reduce the wearing of the tools and the machining time required.

    Abstract: A bicycle hub assembly includes a hub and a tubular portion extends from one end of the hub. A sprocket is connected to the tubular portion. A ratchet unit is located between the hub and the transmission unit so that the hub and the transmission unit are operatively connected to each other indirectly and in one way by the ratchet unit. A control unit has first positioning portions on the hub and second positioning portions integrally formed with the tubular portion. The first positioning portions and the second positioning portions are connected to each other by bolts, and the first positioning portions and the second positioning portions are separated from each other when the bolts are removed. The hub assembly can be switched between direct and two-way transmission into indirect and one-way transmission by arrangement of the bolts.

A casing is mounted to two respective outer peripheries of the two end caps and accommodates the axle therein. The two end caps and the casing form a smooth and curved outer shape. Two collars are connected to two distal ends of the two end caps and two ends of the casing. Two positioning bolts extend through the collars and are threadedly connected to the two ends of the axle. Multiple copper heads are connected to the two end caps and protrude outward from the casing at an angle so as to be connected to spokes.

The pawl includes two ratchet teeth which are engaged with the teeth of the teeth ring. A positioning unit has a first positioning slot defined in the driving portion and a second positioning slot is defined in the pawl. A positioning ring is mounted to the first and second slots so as to prevent the pawl from disengaging from the driving portion in axial direction.
