  • Publication number: 20070218424
Abstract: The invention relates to an implant for securing a flexible piece to bone. The implant comprises a first part and a second part, a distal end that is to be inserted first in a hole in the bone, and a proximal end that is at the opposite end of the implant in relation to the distal end. The first part comprises securing means for securing the implant to said hole. The second part comprises a groove that receives the flexible piece to be secured by means of the implant. The second part is arranged to be mobile in relation to the first part in the direction of the longitudinal centre line of the implant. The contact surfaces between the first and the second parts comprise wedging surfaces such that as the second part is shifted towards the proximal end of the implant, said securing means move away from said centre line.

  • Patent number: 7135025
Abstract: A surgical implant made of a polymer, copolymer, polymer mixture or polymer composite that dissolves in the organ system. The manufacturing material is dyed with the coloring agent D&C Violet No. 2 or D&C Green No. 6. Preferably, the amount of the coloring agent is at most approximately 0.03 percent by weight and the implant is sterilized by radiation.

  • Patent number: 7041107
Abstract: An instrument for shaping a mouth part of a drilled tunnel provided in a bone. The instrument includes a shaft having a longitudinal axis and a first and a second end. The first end of the shaft is provided with a projection, which includes a blade for shaping the mouth part of the drilled tunnel when the instrument is turned around the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The instrument is asymmetric at an intersecting surface perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and intersecting with the blade, the instrument thus shaping the surfaces surrounding the first end only substantially within an area corresponding with a turning angle of such a turning movement.

  • Publication number: 20040230195
Abstract: A soft-tissue screw, comprising: an elongated body made of a biodegradable material and having a proximal and distal part, a channel arranged to the body in its axial direction, a first threaded part arranged to the distal part of the body, a second threaded part arranged to the proximal part of the body, a leading end arranged to the distal part, the leading end being in shape a rotationally symmetrical piece that is cut obliquely across so that a planar cut surface is created on the end, and a substantially unthreaded intermediate part arranged between the first and second threaded parts.
