Abstract: A floating wave-attenuation device comprises: a floating body; and a wave-receiving plate disposed inclinedly and downwardly at an angle with respect to a horizontal level, wherein a first end of said wave-receiving plate is attached to the front portion of said floating body, and a second end of said wave-receiving plate is submerged under a water surface; and a float linked and fastened via a fastening string to the rear portion of the floating body by stringing the fastening string via one portion of said wave-receiving plate, wherein said float is disposed forwardly of the floating body.

Abstract: A wave capturing and attenuating structure comprising at least one pair of floating structures (100) each coupled with each other in a substantially parallel manner for capturing water-surface waves. The respective floating structures (100) comprise: a body (10) consisting of a floating floor (12) and a side wall (14) extended down from a perimeter of the floating floor (12); and a floating member (20) connected to the floating floor (12) of said body (10) in order to support said body (10) for submerging in the water. Said floating member (20) comprises a wave baffle (22) having at least one part of the baffle (22) located above the water-surface level, wherein said wave baffle (22) of said floating member (20) comprises a surface formed as a vertical plane and inclined at an acute angle with respect to a line extended along the length of said body (10) as viewed from above. Each pair of said floating structures (100) is fixed together such that a passageway (E) is formed as a wave passage.

Abstract: A floating unit capable of attaching to another floating unit by locks for assembling a floating structure according to this invention comprises a floating body being in the form of a hollow polygonal shape as viewed from a plan view. The floating body comprises an upper surface, a lower surface, and a plurality of lateral surfaces connected to said upper and lower surfaces. Said upper surface and said lower surfaces of the floating body comprise at least one upper engaging surface and at least one lower engaging surface respectively on each associated side of said polygonal floating body, wherein the upper and lower engaging surfaces are respectively adapted in order to be fitted with a locking surface of said lock, therefore, said floating body can be attached to a floating body of another floating unit.
