  • Publication number: 20120042462
Abstract: In the exemplary embodiment, a steaming appliance in combination with an absorber is disclosed. The steaming appliance has an underside having a nozzle for dispensing steam. The absorber is disposed under the underside and includes a pad having an opening there-through. The absorber is attachable to the underside. The opening is shaped and disposed to avoid the nozzle, such that steam is dispensed without impacting and being absorbed the pad as it exits the nozzle. The pad comprises hydrophilic fibers and hydrogel-forming particles. The absorber also includes an envelope made of a porous fabric for enclosing the pad. The envelope also has a zippered opening through which the pad may be inserted into or removed from the envelope's hollow interior chamber.

  • Publication number: 20110236275
Abstract: An accessory for a steam generating appliance includes a valve having one or more inlets for receiving one or both of steam and a sanitizing agent from the steam generating appliance. One or more forwardly-directed outlet ports and one or more downwardly-directed outlet ports are included. A first conduit provides fluid communication between the valve and the one or more forwardly-directed outlet ports. A second conduit provides fluid communication between the valve and the one or more downwardly-directed outlet ports. A valve controller selectively allows or denies the one or both of steam and a sanitizing agent to flow through the valve and conduits to the outlet ports in at least several modes.

  • Patent number: 7891047
Abstract: It is a new steam broom for floor cleaning with a boiler (C) for steam production connected to two ducts for steam delivery, the delivery duct (CF) for front jets and the delivery duct (C1) for lower jets and a detergent delivery duct (CD), the opening or closing of the valve (VU) for steam output from the boiler is controlled by the operation device (DA), connected to the arm (M1) of the handle (M), so that the rotation of said arm (M1) around the hinge (M?) causes the displacement of said operating device (DA), thus causing the opening of said output valve (Vu). Said boiler (C) comprises two pressure gauges (P1) and (P2), a device for jet deflection (D) shuts one or more delivery ducts (CF), (C1) and (CD) by compressing them.

  • Publication number: 20100313379
Abstract: A Nozzle (1) for a vacuum cleaner, with an integrated UVC germicide lamp (3) that works without being connected to an external electric power supply because the current generator (8) necessary for its powering is part of the nozzle itself.

  • Publication number: 20100275400
Abstract: The new cleaning cloth holder head comprises a triangular-shaped head and handle rotating-attachment. At least one, and preferably all, sides of the body are equipped with a centrally-positioned curved notch or indentation. A cloth positioning and locking part is positioned on the upper surface of the cleaning cloth holder head in proximity to each edge of the triangular-shaped part, whereas a rotating handle coupling device is positioned centrally (preferably) in order to allow the handle attachment to rotate independent of the three axes of the body.
