Abstract: Apparatus for handling textile articles, comprising means to engage a portion (30) of same articles in a station for the removal thereof and to operate the handling thereof in a predetermined direction (F) up to a station for either the unloading or the release thereof, characterized in that it comprises means (6), acting between said removal and handling means and said article portion (30) engaged by the latter, in order to move said article portion forward by rotating it in said direction (F) about a respective fold axis (u—u): said means (6) being in an active condition in correspondence of the unloading of the articles (3) and, respectively, in a rest condition in correspondence of the removal and handling thereof.

Abstract: System for sensing the orientation of a product, especially of a textile article such as a stocking, a sock and the like having a first and a second differently shaped ends, for detecting which of the two ends is forward along a preset work and/or transfer path. The system includes the following operating steps:—subjecting each product to a first reading and a second reading by optical detection means disposed along at least a first front of reading transverse with respect to said work and/or transfer path, said readings being carried out on the foremost portion of the product along a direction of relative advancement thereof with respect to said optical means;—comparing the result of said first and second readings for checking any coincidence between the two readings;—emitting a signal relevant to the identification of either the first or second end in correspondence, respectively, of the coincidence or non-coincidence of the two readings.

Abstract: Apparatus for the automatic orientation of tubular articles, such as stockings and the like, in which one end is thicker than the other, comprising a tubular chamber (1) with an inlet section (I) and an outlet section (U) for, respectively, the admission and exit of the articles (2), characterized in that said chamber (1) is provided with two cascade filter-valves (3, 30) each of which, when in operating condition, prevents the passage of the thicker end (21) and allows the passage of the thinner end (20) of the articles to be treated, said chamber (1) exhibiting a branch (10) whose mouth is in correspondence of the space between said filter-valves (3, 30) and being associated, in conjunction with its branch (10), to an aspirator (9) by means of which an air flow is generated able to convey the in-process articles as desired.

Abstract: Apparatus for the opening or stretching apart of one end (10) of a tubular article (1), comprising a body (T) of substantially tubular shape, with an entry section (I) of the end (10) of the articles (1) to be treated and communicating with air suction means, in which downstream of the section (I) a converging-diverging conduit (2) is provided downstream of which, at a predetermined distance, there is a pin member (3) on which the end (10) of the article is to be fitted by virtue of the suction and of the expansion or opening caused by its transit along the region (20) downstream of the conduit (2). The body (T) is made up of two portions separable with respect to a central longitudinal plane (x--x) at least in correspondence of the above mentioned pin member (3) to allow the removal of the article (1) with its end (10) in streteched condition. Abstract: Method and apparatus for treating knitted tubular articles having both ends open, wherein steps are provided for individually loading each article on a corresponding support hose in a toe-sewing machine, overturning said article on the relevant support hose and positioning it in a toe-sewing arrangement, sewing the toe along a line oriented according to a predetermined arrangement and unloading the article with the toe thus sewn, and wherein provision is made for carrying out--on the article supported by a respective hose and starting from the end opposite to the toe--a cut of predetermined length in a direction parallel to its longitudinal axis, upstream of the article-unloading station, in the same machine.

Abstract: An improved circular carrousel machine is provided for carrying out the joining seam of two tubular articles, especially women's stockings, to form a pantyhose article. The machine includes at least two paired, flat, superposed shapes (1) for supporting the articles (M), and at least a sewing machine (C) provided with a finger (3) and a foot (4) and suitably positioned in a corresponding carrousel sewing station. Each of the shapes (1) is provided, in correspondence of each of its internal edges (11), with an appendix (10) of predetermined length and developed according to the longitudinal direction of the shape (1). The appendix (10) is centripetally oriented with respect to the central longitudinal axis (x--x) of the shape (1) and projecting from the respective edge (11). The front edge (30) of the finger (3) of the sewer is wedge shaped, with its front (30) sloping down in the direction of the incoming shapes (1).

Abstract: Improved stocking-holder shape comprising two contouring flat elements that can be stretched apart under control, wherein each of said flat elements is provided, in correspondence of the respective outer side, with a flexible and elastic body which has one end fixed, at the level of the front portion of the flat element, while the other end is free, so as to allow for the elastic yielding thereof and the movement of said free end close to the side of the flat part, during the stretching apart of the flat elements, owing to the action exerted by the fabric of the stocking.
