    Abstract: Hydrophilic textile fibers, which exhibit good receptivity to dyes of the disperse class are prepared from crystalline olefin polymers modified by carboxylic acids, grafted along the polymer chain, by reaction with polyamides, polyamines, polyoxyethylene alcohols or polyoxyethylene amines which react with the carboxylic acids and processes for obtaining such fibers are disclosed.
