  • Publication number: 20120181381
Abstract: A self-righting aerostat (10) is described comprising at least one blimp-shaped body (12), supported by gas and in which a bow and a stern are defined, a plurality of tailplanes (13) having a stabilizing function, a self-righting system provided with a ballast, consisting of liquid, able to be moved through a pump (22) from the bow to the stern of the blimp-shaped body (12) and vice-versa, a system for controlling the trim based upon the actuation of mobile parts (27) of the tailplanes (13) and on propellers driven by motors (28; 29), and a takeoff and recovery system (34) comprising a winch device (35) on which a cable is wound (19) to anchor the aerostat to the ground (10).

  • Patent number: 7350746
Abstract: A highly maneuverable aircraft with aerostatic lift consists, in particular, of a non-rigid airship (10) which can be piloted or radio-controlled; the airship (10) is sustained by helium and consists of two spindle-shaped elements side by side (11) joined by a connecting structure (12) to form a characteristic catamaran shape, without deflecting aerodynamic control surfaces as the command system consists of a set of several adjustable electric motors, each driving a variable-pitch propeller (13).

  • Patent number: 5020896
Abstract: The device comprises a frame for oscillably supporting the reflecting surface, with a first and second portion pivoted to one another and to the body of the mirror along a first and a second oscillation axes which are mutually orthogonal; a pair of rods respectively rigidly associated with, and orthogonal to the mirror body and to the reflecting surface, one being arranged eccentrically with respect to the first, the other to the second oscillation axis; a pair of actuation rollers each whereof co-operates in contact engagement with each rod in order to move the rods parallel to themselves; and at least one electric motor for rotating the rollers with the interposition of reduction gears and for producing axial movements of the rods and corresponding oscillations of the frame portions about the respective pivoting axes, in order to orientate the reflecting surface.
