  • Publication number: 20230139177
Abstract: A three-phase synchronous rectifier for charging a battery on board the vehicle, comprising a first and a second input which are independent of each other and each connectable to a respective first and second three-phase output branch of a generator, two independent negative and positive outputs each connectable to the respective poles of the battery, a first group of three rectification units configured to be connected to the first output branch of the generator via said first input, a second group of three rectification units configured to be connected to the second output branch of said generator via the second input. Advantageously, the rectification units are configured to be simultaneously connected to the battery of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7948218
Abstract: The voltage regulator receives power in A.C. from a permanent magnet voltage generator, having phase windings with a configurable connection, to supply power in D.C. to a battery. The voltage regulator comprises a plurality of semi-bridge rectifiers connected between the terminals of the phase windings of the voltage generator, and a battery power supply terminal; it also comprises a control circuit designed to change over the connection of the phase windings between two different configurations, for example star and delta, in relation to the charging voltage of the battery upon exceeding a threshold value of the phase frequency of the voltage generator.

  • Patent number: 6111393
Abstract: A phase-controlled voltage regulator of the series type, for supplying A.C. and D.C. electric loads in electronic ignition systems for internal-combustion engines. The A.C. and/or D.C. electric load is connectable in series with a single winding magneto generator via a respective electronic control switch; the voltage existing on the electric load is continuously detected and set to a supply voltage value required by the load by controlling the start time, and the time length of activation of the electronic control switch, during each half-wave of the generator voltage having a same polarity, in relation to the detected voltage on the electric load itself; no-load operating conditions for the magneto generator are maintained during the initial period of time for each half-wave, inhibiting the conduction of the electronic control switch.
