  • Patent number: 10195922
Abstract: A motor vehicle (1) with a passenger compartment (3) and a motor chamber (2). A substantially closed area (7) is arranged in the motor chamber (2), and the area (7) is connected to the passenger compartment (3) via at least one first air outlet opening (18) in order to supply air from the area (7) into the passenger compartment (3). The area (7) is additionally connected to the air outside of the motor vehicle (1) via at least one air inlet opening (13) in order to supply air from outside of the motor vehicle into the area (7). Furthermore, the area (7) is connected to at least one second air outlet opening (14) in order to discharge air out of the area (7).

  • Publication number: 20180147514
Abstract: The invention relates to a motor vehicle having a water tank (10) with a first inner chamber (23) for separating and conducting away water from a first air flow (15) flowing through the first inner chamber (23). The water tank (10) is designed as a heat exchanger, comprising a heat exchanger element (20) for transferring thermal energy between the first air flow (15) and a second air flow (50). At least one guide structure (8) is provided for guiding the second air flow to the heat exchange element (20) in a targeted manner. In addition, at least one control element (34) is provided, with which the transfer of the thermal energy between the first air flow (15) and the second air flow (50) can be enabled in a first operating state, and can be at least partially inhibited in a second operating state.

  • Publication number: 20160236534
Abstract: The invention relates to a not vehicle (1), comprising a passenger compartment (2) and an engine compartment (26), wherein the passenger compartment (2) is separated from the engine compartment (26) by a firewall (25), and comprising an air-conditioning system (3) for heating and/or cool:flag the passenger compartment (2). The air-conditioning system comprises a compressor (6), an expansion valve (5), a first heat exchanger (4), and at least one second heat exchanger (7), which are fluidically connected to each other by means of a heat-transfer medium, and a first conducting structure (8) for conducting a first air flow (11) from an outer body opening (3) into the first heat exchanger (4), which first heat exchanger is suitable for providing energy exchange between the heat-transfer medium and the first air flow (11), wherein the first heat exchanger (4) is connected to the passenger compartment (2) in order to feed the first air flow (11) into the passenger compartment (2).

  • Publication number: 20160221419
Abstract: The radiator tank comprises a deflection chamber (2) comprising a top wall (3); a bottom wall (4) having a water outflow hole (9); an air inlet hole (10); and an air outlet hole (11). Inside the deflection chamber (2) a deflection element (12) is arranged, by which air charged with water droplets and flowing in through the air inlet opening (10) is deflected. The air inlet opening (10) is arranged in the top wall (3) and/or in a front wall (5) and the air outlet opening (11) is arranged in the top wall (3) and/or in a rear wall (6). A flow hole (15) is arranged between at least one side wall (7, 8) of the deflection chamber (2) and a side edge (36) of the deflection element (12). Near said flow hole (15) at least one guide structure (53) is provided to guide air flowing through the deflection chamber (2) around the side edge (36) of the deflection element (12).
