  • Publication number: 20180204250
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for predictive attribution-adjusted bidding for electronic advertisements. A bid determination computing device receives a bid request for an available impression opportunity on a website, and determines an initial opportunity value estimate for the available impression opportunity. The bid determination computing device identifies one or more interaction events associated with one or more prior impression opportunities for which the bid determination computing device submitted a winning bid, and determines a probability that a target outcome is attributable to at least one of the interaction events. The bid determination computing device adjusts the initial opportunity value estimate for the available impression opportunity based upon the determined probability, and transmits the adjusted opportunity value estimate to a remote computing device in response to the bid request.

  • Patent number: 9903661
Abstract: A plate (30) for a heat exchanger (50) is stackable with another plate (30) of the heat exchanger (50) to form a pair of plates (30). The pair of plates (30) are arranged to permit the circulation of a fluid to be cooled between the pair of plates (30). The plate (30) exhibits an exchange zone (ZE) to encourage the exchange of heat with the fluid. The plate (30) also exhibits a bypass zone (ZBP) capable of allowing the fluid to bypass the exchange zone (ZE). The plate (30) comprises means (36, 37) originating from the plate (30) configured in such a way as to force a circulation of the fluid in the exchange zone (ZE). A core (52) of plates comprising a plurality of the plates (30), as well as a heat exchanger (50) comprising the core (52), are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9822735
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for mixing a stream of supercharging air and a stream of recirculated exhaust gases. The device comprises a manifold allowing the stream of air and the stream of recirculated gases to be mixed, and allowing the mixture to be distributed in the cylinder head. The device also comprises means for conveying the recirculated exhaust gases in the manifold that allow the distributed injection of the recirculated exhaust gases into the stream of supercharging air. The device additionally comprises means for thermally insulating the conveying means in order to limit the cooling of the recirculated exhaust gases by the supercharging air.

  • Patent number: 5799656
Abstract: A method for detecting the presence of one or more calcifications within a portion of a turbid medium, such as a breast tissue. According to one aspect, the method involves illuminating at least a portion of the turbid medium with light, whereby light emerges from the turbid medium consisting of a ballistic component, a snake-like component and a diffuse component, temporally and/or spatially gating the emergent light to preferentially pass the ballistic and/or snake-like components, using the temporally and/or spatially gated light to form an image of the illuminated portion of the turbid medium, and examining the image for the presence of one or more calcifications. Wavelength difference images may also be used to highlight tumors and calcification regions.
