Patent number: 11472460Abstract: A cart is disclosed which is capable of being wheeled to a vehicle and mounted thereon through a mount secure coupling attached to the cart and a secure receiver attached to the vehicle. Upon secure attachment to the vehicle, the carts undercarriage assembly including wheels are capable of being retracted into the top deck assembly of the cart. Therefore, the vehicle maintains clearance from the road even after the cart is attached. Upon reaching a destination, the undercarriage of the cart is lowered and the cart is detached from the vehicle. The cart is then able to be wheeled away. The cart allows for transportation of loads without the need for the operator to actually carry either the load or the cart at any stage from start to finish or perform any additional steps to safe and securely attach the cart to the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2020Date of Patent: October 18, 2022Assignee: Invententional Products, LLCInventors: Kenneth Camarco, Jonathan Albert, Eric Chang, Pierre-Andre Couture, Francois Gelinas, Gregory Allen Wallace, Mark William Chiles, Marko Vujicic

Patent number: 10555845Abstract: A wheelchair rear wheel support assembly and a detachable arm assembly is described. The rear wheel support assembly is adjustable by finite adjustment both in the horizontal and vertical planes whereby to adjust the position of the rear wheels at a center of gravity to suit a user person to optimize the efforts of propulsion of the wheelchair by the user and thereby significantly increasing its quality of life. The detachable armrest is easily adjustable in height and can be pivoted away from its position of use by simple hand-operating levers easily accessible to the user person. It can also be easily removed with little effort.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2017Date of Patent: February 11, 2020Assignee: MOTION COMPOSITES INCInventors: David Gingras, Michael Archambault, Pierre-Andre Couture, Jacques Desbiens

Patent number: 10123922Abstract: A seat assembly for wheelchair of the type having a structure expandable from a contracted condition to an expanded position comprises a pair of tubular members connected to the structure. Each tubular member has a main tubular body, a secondary tubular body parallel to and inside the main tubular body, and an elongated slit extending along both the main tubular body and the secondary tubular body and common to both the main tubular body and the secondary tubular body. The slits open into an inner channel of the secondary tubular body. The main tubular body and the secondary tubular body form a hollow integral piece of composite material. A panel, e.g., of non-rigid material has rods on its opposite edges, the rods having a diameter smaller than that of the secondary tube and larger than a width of the slit to be held captive in the secondary tube, whereby the panel extends through the slit.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2015Date of Patent: November 13, 2018Assignee: MOTION COMPOSITES INCInventors: David Gingras, Pierre-Andre Couture, Luc Henault
