Abstract: A method of assigning transaction identifiers assigns an identifier that is unique to each transaction, each transaction operating on data distributed across various stations. The method determines a first field of the identifier, having either a temporary value identifiable as such and unique to the station executing the application process that requested opening of the transaction if opening of the transaction is requested during an initialization phase or a value assigned by a first manager process specific to the station executing the requesting application process if opening of the transaction is requested after the initialization phase. The method also determines a second field having either a temporary value identifiable as such and unique to the set of stations if the opening of the transaction is requested during the initialization phase or a value assigned by a second manager process common to the set of stations if opening of the transaction is requested after the initialization phase.

Abstract: Apparatus for the acquisition and pre-processing of electrocardiographic data.It comprises elements for multiplexing (1) and pre-amplifying (2) signals picked up by the 7 electrodes, in a Frank network (3), of three fixed gain amplifiers (4, 5, 6), a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (8), a device (9) for digit compression of the signals, a micro-processor (11) and display elements (20), all these elements being assembled in a portable unit.Application to the processing of vectocardiographic data.

Abstract: These components comprise a reference frame (3) and a mobile frame (4) mounted slidingly in the plane of the reference frame. After placing electrode E and, consequently, electrode M, which are carried by telescopic arms fixed to the reference frame, the mobile frame is moved in order to place electrodes A and I, fixed to the latter. The correct ratio of distances OE and OM is obtained by reading a fixed scale (37) integral with the reference frame and a mobile scale (45) cooperating with a needle (49) integral with the mobile frame. The mobile scale is articulated (at 451) on a lever mounted pivotally on the reference frame at one end (461) and whose other end bears against a reference backrest (1).
