Abstract: The safety harness (30) comprises: at least one loop (31, 32, 33, 35, 36) intended to wrap around part of the body of a user, pro vided with a sensor (37, 38, 67, 68) for measuring the tightening force exerted on said loop, each measurement sensor providing a signal representing said force; a means (42) for comparing the value represented by the signal supplied by at least one measurement sensor with a predetermined minimum force value; and a means (42) for indicating a tightening fault, in the event that, for at least one measurement sensor, the measured force is below the predetermined minimum force value.
