Abstract: A valve assembly connects into a drill string for opening and closing a passage within the drill string. The valve assembly has an inner valve member for opening and closing an inner passage of the drill string. The valve member moves between the open and closed positions in response to axial movement of the drill string. Lifting the drill string causes the upper portion to move upward relative to the lower portion, bringing along with it the valve member, while the valve sleeve remains stationary with the lower portion, opening the valve. The valve assembly can include an annular valve assembly for opening and closing an annular passage located around the inner passage. The annular valve assembly is opened and closed by increasing the pressure in the annular passage above the annular valve assembly.

Abstract: A display card with removable content has a transparent film layer having a face covered with an adhesive substance. The transparent film layer adheres to a first transparent self-adhering laminate layer, and this first transparent self-adhering laminate layer, in turn, adheres to a first face of a printed layer. This printed layer has a second face which adheres to a second laminate self-adhering layer, and, adhering onto the transparent film layer is the bottom part of a capsule wherein the capsule has a removable top part for accessing the contents of the capsule.

Abstract: A display card for displaying valuable collectible items such as coins, medals, fluids or the like that includes a card body having a display aperture extending therethrough. The card body has a core layer sandwiched between first and second card protective layers. A one sided self adhesive tape is adhesively bound to a surface of the card so as to extend across the display aperture. The display object is positioned within the display aperture so as to define a peripheral clearance relative to the latter. The display object is bound to the one sided self adhesive tape extending across the display aperture. A ring of adhesive material further binds the display object of the card by extending between the object peripheral edge and the peripheral edge of the display aperture.
