  • Patent number: 5194850
Abstract: A process for metering electric power passing via a certain point in a single-phase system comprises current (12) and voltage (U) stages at that point in the system and a processing stage for this information to generate data on the measurement of electric power. Each current data acquisition stage comprises the following steps: A) injection, into a winding (10a) of a magnetic circuit (10) with a predetermined structure surrounding one (LA) of the lines (LA, LB) of the system, of a current (Il+Ic) substantially proportional to the sum of a modulation current (kIl) and a "compensation" current (kIc); and B) detection at the terminals of the winding (10a) of an overvoltage leading to the immediate acquisition of the compensation current (kIc) as an image of the current passing through the line (LA). Use in the electronic metering of power in domestic installations, especially with facilities for remote transmission and information.

  • Patent number: 4878984
Abstract: Apparatus whereby a filament web impregnated with resin in the unpolymerized state is fed to a pole (1) at a predetermined angle (.alpha.) with respect to a plane perpendicular to this latter. The pole (1) is drawn in rotation about its axis (X-X') and the filament web is displaced along the pole from the bottom end to the top end thereof in a direction parallel to the axis of the pole while this latter is being driven in rotation. A plurality of parallel fiber slivers (8, 9, 10) spaced a distance apart are fed simultaneously to the pole (1) in a plurality of layers. The spacing between the slivers is progressively increased during displacement of the slivers between the bottom end and the top end of the pole and progressively decreased in the opposite direction. Similarly, the angle of the slivers to a plane perpendicular to that axis is progressively increased and decreased in the same directions that the spacing is increased and decreased.

  • Patent number: 4769967
Abstract: A cylindrical pole of plastic material having the primary function of supporting electric power transmission lines is reinforced by a filament-wound structure in which the filament density decreases progressively from the lower end to the upper end of the pole and has the effect of modifying the mechanical characteristics along the length of the pole.

  • Patent number: 4701577
Abstract: A cable support for an electric power-line pole comprises a body of insulating material having a core delimited externally by a substantially rigid shell to which are attached individual cable support brackets. The core is covered with an insulating membrane with interposition of packing material.

  • Patent number: 3958784
Abstract: A cable-retaining device attached by hooking to a support mounted on a pole comprises a suspension body and a guiding member rotatably mounted within the body and associated with a suspension hook. A passageway formed in the guiding member is located in the line of extension of two outer passageways formed in the suspension body in a cable-displacement position and is angularly displaced with respect to the body passageways in a cable-retaining position.

  • Patent number: 3957238
Abstract: The connection system comprises a support consisting of a flanged sole-plate which is secured to a pole by means of straps and carries a longitudinal guide rib on which are slidably fitted separate and detachable retaining members in stacked relation respectively for threading and terminating electric cables.
