  • Publication number: 20220371427
Abstract: Anti-vibration mount comprising a first frame, a second frame, an elastomeric main body connecting the first frame and the second frame, the elastomeric main body allowing relative displacements of the second frame relative to the first frame in a first direction of vibration and in a second direction of vibration perpendicular to the first direction of vibration, the elastomeric main body also being suitable for mounting a weight in the first direction of vibration. An inertia body is connected to the first frame by an elastic suspension interposed between the inertia body and the first frame along the second direction of vibration. An elastomeric lateral abutment body is interposed between the first frame and the inertia body to limit the relative displacements of the second frame with respect to the first frame in the second direction of vibration. The inertia body has a natural frequency lower than 800 Hz.

  • Patent number: 5405298
Abstract: The invention relates mainly to a tensioner for a transmission belt, in particular a power transmission belt, e.g. a V-belt or a ribbed belt, and also for a toothed belt used for timing purposes in the automobile industry. The invention also relates to a transmission system including such a tensioner. According to the invention, a tensioner for a belt comprising two fixing members, in particular eye links mechanically interconnected by a spring, and two chambers containing fluid and hydraulically interconnected via a connection including a passage of calibrated section that determines a degree of damping provided by the fluid flowing from one chamber into the other under drive from pumping member whenever there is a variation in the distance between the two fixing members, wherein the two chambers are substantially coaxial.

  • Patent number: 5026330
Abstract: A tensioner is provided for a power transmission belt comprises a tensioning roller with which the belt cooperates, a return spring for controlling the displacement of said roller when the tension of the belt decreases and means for damping the vibrations likely to occur in the belt and comprising two variable volume chambers filled with a liquid and communicating together at one of their ends through a valve device through which the passage of the liquid entering and/or leaving said chambers introduces the damping effect, wherein the sidewall at least of one of the chambers is a membrane made from an elastomer material, such as rubber, having a general bell-shape and without spring, and the return spring associated with the other chamber is formed by a coil spring working under compression, prestressed in its rest state.
