  • Patent number: 8476998
Abstract: An electromagnetic trip device comprising a shell and a moving core sliding due to the action of a coil, the shell comprising a radial surface having an opening through which the moving core passes, superposition of a radial crown of the moving core and the radial surface forming a magnetic flux transfer surface enabling flow of an axial magnetic flux. The trip device comprises intercalary adjustment means of said transfer surface respectively positioned between the moving core and the opening, said intercalary adjustment means comprising two calibrated elements adjoined surface against surface and being respectively formed by an alternation of magnetic sectors and non-magnetic sectors; movement of a calibrated element with respect to the other enabling a variation of said transfer surface to be obtained.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 2, 2011
Date of Patent: July 2, 2013
    Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SAS
Inventors: Jean Claude Ramirez, Pierre Bussieres, Bernard Loiacono
  • Patent number: 8393922
Abstract: A screw terminal with creep compensation comprises a pressure device enabling a clamping energy of the terminal to be stored. According to the invention, means for detecting the tightening torque enable the user to identify the force required for connection and to check that the creep is in fact compensated. The means for detecting comprise an element securedly affixed to the pressure device and an element securedly affixed to a wall of the housing in which the terminal is fitted, the distance between the two elements being determined by means enabling indicating means to be actuated when the distance is smaller than a threshold corresponding to a predetermined tightening torque.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 12, 2013
    Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SAS
